I watched 2 episodes of Six Feet Under again last night, after a long recess from writing proposal. The characters' lives change from one way to another, but the sorrow and the sadness in the series still linger.
Sharon, who has been intoxicated by this drama too, also finds that the dramatical line in this production sometimes is not very reasonable--reasonable in the sense that it should goes with the feeling of interaction, rather than dramatizing the characteristics of people. As there is an episode Nate is having sex with Maggie, the daughter of his later divorced step-father, while his wife Brenda is carrying his baby and feels purplexed by the interaction between them, I feel the whole thing of interpersonal communication is problematic in this drama--although it is actually a example of dealing with the darkside of American family culture.
