Anti-Lee Teng Hui Protest

This is something opposite to what I usually see and found from flickr. It is a shame that there is no description on the context of this activity, for more detailed comparison between what people do and what they prepare in the backstage. However, I guess these people are HongKong-based and mobilized by Chinese government.
Strangely, Hong Kong could be the frontline hoboring the united-indepedent controversy, such as the case of Jacky Chen.

Hi there. That is my photo and I can offer up a little bit of background. That is a protest from a pro-China organization outside of a conference for Lee Teng Hui's organization in Pasadena, California. The pro-China side gathered across the street from the convention center and there was a lot of back-and-forth (though harmless) yelling between the two sides. Most passersbys in Pasadena (like me) didn't really understand fully the context, but likely a lot of the participants were from the neighboring towns of Alhambra and Monterey Park.
